I wanted to dedicate an entire post just to the Caledon Section, to wrap up everything from this Caledon Section follows the red trail from the northern flag near Mono Cliffs down to the lower flag past Belfountain. section that I learned during my explorations. This beautiful area is filled with diverse landscapes and offers a wealth of experiences for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature. Peninsula VS Caledon
The Peninsula and Caledon sections are both integral parts of the expansive Bruce Trail, which stretches across the stunning landscapes of Ontario. Each of these sections offers unique experiences and breathtaking views, making them truly remarkable in their own right. As of today, March 30, 2026, we have dedicated a significant amount of time and effort in exploring these two segments of the Bruce trail. We have hiked: 72 kms of the Caledon section 88 kms of the Peninsula se

Caledon East Hike: Sleswick
We completed this hike on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Throughout the week leading up to the hike, I had meticulously planned our outing for that particular Saturday, eagerly anticipating the adventure that awaited us. However, as Friday night approached, a sense of uncertainty crept in. Hockley Valley Eastern Trails
This is our first official hike after deciding that we are going to hike the entire Bruce Trail. Cue Applause. We hiked this on November 15, 2025. This was a great start to our hiking journey. I picked a place somewhat close to home because this was also our first time to try truck camping. So I wanted to be able to drive home if it didn't work out. Hockley Valley is a part of the Caledon Club Section of the Bruce trail. We started the hike at 11 am and finished by 4pm

Duncan Caves and Snell Loop
In this post, we get into two distinct trails that offer vastly different experiences. The first trail, which I absolutely loved, is a breathtaking journey that offered a variety of scenery. On the other hand, the second trail was a different story altogether. While it had its moments of potential, my overall experience was not so favourable. Parts of the path were poorly maintained, with sections that were overgrown and difficult to navigate. In retrospect, while the fi
