On March 25, 2026, I made the spontaneous decision to embark on an impromptu hike. The drive to the trailhead took about an hour during which I could hear Mia softly snoring in the backseat; getting all rested up for our days hike. Meanwhile, Oliver was sitting anxiously right behind my driver's seat just waiting to get out of the truck. As we arrived to the trailhead, I changed the pups into their hiking backpacks and I got all my gear on as well, we started the hike at 9

These two are my very first Bruce Trail hikes. I hiked these way back in 2023 before I ever thought about hiking the entire bruce trail. I have these hikes saved within the AllTrails app which is how I firstly remembered completing them and secondly how I have all the stats and info about the trails. ~Mill Creek (Metcalfe Rock) This was the first Bruce trail hike and to this day, several years later, I still remember this hike because of how wonderful and special it was.
